OUT-OF-CHARACTER
BACKTAG—
Yes! I am a slow tagger. Sometimes I am simply not feeling it or I'm drawn away by real-life responsibilities. I welcome and encourage backtagging from my writing partners as well, if that's what they need or prefer.

FOURTHWALL—
Typically no, with the exception of Deadpool, though I prefer Elena not be told she is fictional.

THREAD-HOPPING—
Yes, in a game setting!

CANON COMPLIANT—
I prefer to play Elena compliant through seasons 1-3. I have seen the entire series! While there is plenty about The Vampire Diaries that I love, there's also some narrative choices for Elena that I don't: namely becoming a vampire and the sire bond. As a result, I greatly prefer the potential of the earlier seasons for Elena and will play her from those.

OPT-OUT—
The Vampire Diaries deals with a lot of potentially triggering themes including death, murder, mind control, and rape/abuse. When playing with Elena, it is possible those themes will come up, including: parental death, death of loved ones, depression, drowning, survivor's guilt, and suicide/self-sacrifice. Please PM this journal if you have any questions or would rather not be tagged/explore these topics during a thread.

CONTACT—
Please PM this journal.

IN-CHARACTER
PHYSICAL AFFECTION—
Elena is a tactile and touch-positive person. It is an extension of her empathy to reach out and comfort through her hands. She is likewise all right with being touched affectionately, but some basis for it is needed.

ROMANCE/SEX—
With proper chemistry and connection, this is possible. Elena is capable of loving deeply and unconditionally and this often gets her in trouble with her own heart. YES, I SHIP IT: crosscanon ships, Stefan, possibly Damon, Elijah.

VIOLENCE—
I am not opposed, but I would like to discuss first. Elena is human for all intents and purposes and I would rather know beforehand what she's getting into. Regardless, she is a resourceful and fierce fighter on her own. What she lacks in hard power she makes up for in cleverness.

DEATH—
No thanks! She has died enough.
